LinkEHR is a software platform for the normalization and semantic representation of clinical data by means of archetypes and Electronic Health Record standards. It is composed by several modules:

  • LinkEHR-Ed Archetype Editor. Open source multimodel archetype editor (currently works with CEN EN13606, openEHR, CCR and CDA). Download.
  • LinkEHR-Ed Integration Archetype Editor. A legacy clinical data normalization tool that generates standard EHR extracts from existing EHR data.
  • LinkEHR Extract Server. Federated server of standardized EHR extracts.
  • LinkEHR Viewer. Web-based standard EHR viewer.

LinkEHR is a result of a coordinate project sponsored by Spanish Education Ministry project grant titled “Semantic Web Technologies-Based Platform for the Management of Standardized Electronic Health Records” that ended in December 2007 and currently continued in the project “Platform for the acquisition and sharing of information and knowledge for networked communities of medical research” (2008-2010).
